This mural painted by Philip Boville came out of a competition to depict Teesside Steel Industry. It was the artists concept to include elements of the industrial heritage in landscape form which proved to be the winning design. The mural was painting in situ within the Lackenby Steelworks Health Centre and unveiled in 1975 by the Duke and Duchess of Kent. It is has since been moved to the council chamber of Redcar and Cleveland Council where it is open for public viewing
